1 Loot To Forge Ore List
Ore data checked 2026-09-23 · community-observed, verify in-game
Ore is the only thing that turns into weapons — Coins just buy Upgrades and Enchants. This is every material we have found a dated report for, sorted by the stage it first shows up on, with an honest label on how confident we are.
Ore list by stage
| Ore | Stage first seen | What it is for | Confidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amethyst Mid game | Stage 5–6 | Weapon and armor recipes | Cross-source |
| Nova Ore Mid game | Stage 5–6 | Weapon recipes | Cross-source |
| Sunfire Ore Mid game | Stage 5–6 | Weapon and armor recipes; also a reliable early Coin source | Cross-source |
| Emerald Mid game | Stage 7 | Weapon recipes | Cross-source |
| Mystic Crystal Mid game | Stage 7 | Weapon recipes | Cross-source |
| Gold Mid game | Stage 7 | Recipe ingredient — check the Forge before selling | Cross-source |
| Sapphire Late game | Stage 7 | Recipe ingredient and a strong Coin source | Cross-source |
| Obsidian Late game | Stage 7 | Recipe ingredient — commonly sold by mistake | Cross-source |
| Fire Crystal Late game | Stage 7 | Recipe ingredient | Cross-source |
The tier label is a farming priority, not a rarity ranking: starter ore funds Upgrades, mid-game ore is the first material worth carrying home, and late-game ore is what you reserve rather than sell.
Craft or sell: the decision that costs the most time
Coins are easy to replace. A stack of recipe ore sold for pocket change is not. The safe rule is to check the Forge preview before you visit the Sell stall, and only convert a stack you know your current recipe does not want.
- Reserve: Gold, Obsidian, Sapphire and Fire Crystal — all four appear in recipes, and all four appear on Stage 7.
- Sell first: the starter clears from Stages 2–4, which have little crafting value and exist to fund backpack capacity.
- Double duty: Sunfire Ore feeds recipes and sells well, so it is the one material worth splitting rather than hoarding whole.
- Before a Rebirth: spend leftover ore at the Forge — a reset does not reclaim anything sitting in storage.
If your bag fills before the run is worth it, that is a capacity problem rather than a loot problem — therun planner shows exactly how many trips junk ore is costing you.
Drops by stage
| Stage | Enemies | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| 2–4 | Goblins, Armored Goblins | Warm-up rooms. Drops cover Upgrades, not real crafts. |
| 5–6 | Desert Zombies | First desert rooms — Amethyst, Nova Ore and Sunfire Ore start dropping here. |
| 7 | Jackal Zombies | The early-game farm target: Emerald, Mystic Crystal, Gold, Sapphire, Obsidian and Fire Crystal all appear on this stage. |
| 8 | Pharaoh Zombies, Desert Reaper | The first wall. The Desert Reaper is reported at roughly 500 million HP. |
Full route reasoning is on the dungeon stages page and in theore farming route guide.
What is not confirmed
- Exact drop rates. No verified rate table exists for any ore. We do not publish invented percentages.
- The complete ore list. Communities keep finding materials deeper in the dungeon; this table only holds rows we have a dated report for.
- Stage-to-stage changes. Updates rescale what drops where, so an ore's "first seen" stage moves over time.
- Sell values. The developer publishes no price table, and values scale with your zone, so we do not list per-ore prices.
Every row keeps its confidence label on purpose. When a value is unknown we say so rather than guess, which is why some cells on this site read as observations instead of exact figures — see the sources page.
