1 Loot To Forge Tier List
Ranked from the documented loop · reviewed 2026-09-23
This is a tier list of the levers you actually control, ranked by impact per cost — not a list of item names we cannot verify. It ranks decisions, which is what a tier list is genuinely useful for in an incremental game.
The tier list
SDo these first — they multiply everything else.
Sets how much ore leaves a run with you. Everything else multiplies a number this stat defines.
Cost: Coins at the Upgrade station · Confidence: Cross-source
Power gates whether a stage is clearable at all, and higher zones multiply each training click without spending materials.
Cost: Free — just move zones · Confidence: Cross-source
AStrong value once the S-tier basics are in place.
A forged weapon is both a damage upgrade and a skill roll, so the same materials improve your Q ability and your clear speed.
Cost: Ore + Coins · Confidence: Cross-source
Damage is what gates stage progress, so coins are best spent on the weapon first and armor only when you die on entry.
Cost: Coins at the Enchant station · Confidence: Cross-source
BGood, but conditional on where you are in the run.
Reliable Power gains, but the Armor tab rolls randomly between chest armor and a helmet, so you cannot target a slot.
Cost: Ore + Coins · Confidence: Cross-source
Strong long-term multipliers, but it wipes Power. Valuable once training flattens, harmful if you reset mid-push.
Cost: Free — costs your Power total · Confidence: Cross-source
CWays to lose time or materials — use with care.
Easy Coins now, but Gold, Obsidian, Sapphire and Fire Crystal are recipe ingredients — selling them costs a craft later.
Cost: Opportunity cost only · Confidence: Cross-source
Those rooms exist to fund Upgrades. Once Stage 7 is clearable they stop being worth the run time.
Cost: Run time · Confidence: Cross-source
What to buy first, in order
- Move to the highest training zone you can reach. Free, instant, and worth a multiplier on every click.
- Buy Max Ore Count at the Upgrade station. Fund it with junk ore from Stages 2–4.
- Push to Stage 7 and start reserving real ore. Check the Forge preview before selling anything.
- Forge a weapon, equip it, then Enchant it. Damage gates stage progress, so the weapon comes first.
- Bank a Rebirth once training flattens. Spend leftover ore at the Forge first.
The full reasoning is in the beginner guide, and you can size each step numerically with the calculator.
Ranked mistakes
- Selling recipe ore. The single most expensive habit — Gold, Obsidian, Sapphire and Fire Crystal all come back as crafting costs.
- Rerolling before capacity. A roll changes one multiplier; capacity changes your output every single run.
- Rebirthing too early or far too late. Both ends waste the multiplier you were buying.
- Forging and forgetting to equip. Forged gear stays in the Backpack until you select it.
- Grinding Stage 2–4 past the early game. Those rooms exist to fund Upgrades, then they stop being worth the run time.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best upgrade in +1 Loot To Forge?
Backpack capacity (Max Ore Count) at the Upgrade station. Every other upgrade multiplies a number this stat defines, because ore — not Coins — is what turns into weapons. Raising capacity roughly triples the value of a trip for a fraction of the price of a roll.
Should I buy Race Rolls or backpack upgrades first?
Backpack upgrades. Race Rolls come free from the 30000CCU code, and the developer publishes no race table, so a paid roll is an unknown quantity. Capacity is a permanent, predictable gain.
When should I Rebirth in +1 Loot To Forge?
When two things are true at once: your training gains have flattened out, and a new stage still kills you. Rebirth wipes Power for a permanent multiplier, so doing it earlier throws away progress you were still making, and doing it much later wastes hours the multiplier would have covered.
Is it ever better to sell ore instead of forging?
Yes — starter clears from Stages 2 to 4 have little crafting value and are best converted to Coins for backpack capacity. But Gold, Obsidian, Sapphire and Fire Crystal are all recipe ingredients, so selling those costs you a craft later.
Should I switch to a higher training zone as soon as I can reach it?
Yes. Community-reported multipliers run roughly x2, x8, x15 and x100 across the zones, so a single zone change can be worth more than several purchases. Moving zones is free; see the calculator to see exactly how much time it saves you.
